“Your Gift Will Make Room for You” Part 1
Some years ago, I did a blog based on my personal seeking about gifting that piggybacked off Dr. Myles Munroe’s teaching “Your gift will make room for you”. I am elated to say; it gives me deep pleasure and honor to continue to speak and write about our gifts. I feel it is within my divine purpose to continue to broaden the awareness of individuals on how much power and value their gifts contain once defined and redefined.

As God gives the message to me through his written word, my dreams, and visions, I will share it with those who have an ear to hear, receive and run with it. Our gifts were rightfully given by God as an inheritance for us to create streams of financial freedom, build generational wealth, and teach to empower others to do the same. Your gifts will declare your WHY!
For those of you who do not remember or never had the pleasure of reading any of legendary Dr. Myles Munroe’s teaching material, I suggest that you do. His life lives on throughout eternity. He was multi-gifted in many areas including being a servant first, prophetic teacher, life coach, leader, international renowned bestselling author, lecturer and the list goes on.
The first time I heard him speak, my spirit immediately connected with his. His prophetic teaching on gifting brings clarity and confirmation to what I have been teaching and I will continue to carry the torch. It is essential that we understand the why, purpose and power of our Godly inheritance called “Gifts”.
Dr. Myles Munroe asked a question: How is the fulfillment of vision meant to work in practical terms?
Proverbs 18:16 he said it reveals the answer: “A man’s gift makes room for him” (NKJV). What you were designed to be known for is your gift.
Dr. Myles Munroe: “God has put a gift or talent in every person that the world will make room for. It is this gift that will enable you to fulfill your vision.”
It will make a way for you in life. It is in exercising this gift that you will find real fulfillment, purpose, and contentment in your work.
I believe God has given us all more than one gift. Each one has its own classification. And, yes! the world is waiting for you to appear. Some will receive you and others will reject you. It’s OK! Your gift is not meant for everyone. Notice Dr. Munroe said gift or talent. For those who are new to the gifts defining, there is a difference between your gifts and talents. And, you will know the difference between the two (2) once you discover your value. Dr. Munroe: How do you find fulfillment, purpose, and contentment while cultivating and maturing your gifts during the process? Through praying and asking for guidance.
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (NKJV)
Distraction will come from every direction. Remain steadfast, unmovable and don’t give up. It won’t be easy but worth it at the end.
Dr. Munroe: It is interesting to note that the Bible does not say that a man’s education makes room for him, but that his gift does. Somehow, we have swallowed the idea that education is the key to success. Our families and societies have reinforced this idea to us, but we will have to change our perspective if we are to be truly successful. Education is not the key to success.
Don’t misunderstand me. I believe in education. However, if education were the key to success, then everyone who has a Ph.D. would be financially secure and happy.
If you are intelligent but are not exercising your gift, you’re probably going to be poor. If you’re educated but have not developed your talent, you’re likely going to be depressed, frustrated, and tired. You will hate going to work on Monday mornings. Education in itself doesn’t guarantee anything.

Thank you Lynette for your comment. You make a valid point. According to James 1:17 every “gift” is from God. We have more than one “gift.” Everyone’s “gifts” are uniquely given from God. Meaning, the way you utilize your “gift(s)” are different from the way another would use theirs. Talents and God-given “gifts,” are totally different. One way of telling them apart is: Gifts are already inside of you. God gave them to us before we were born. That’s why we call them Inherited Natural Gifts aka INGs. Whereas, talents you have to be taught. In other words, go to school or trained to learn. However, your “gifts” are the key factor that exceeds your talents. When they are united, the value of your worth increases. But they are all important and can be used for God’s kingdom as well as in your daily life journey.
